According to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes has become the most expensive chronic condition in America with 1 in 3 Americans qualifying as prediabetic. The U.S. healthcare system spends an estimated $237 billion each year in medical costs and another $90 billion in reduced productivity. 

In fact, $1 out of every $4 spent in the US healthcare system is spent on diabetes-related care and, unfortunately, employers are often assuming a heavy burden of this cost.

Following the CDC’s 12-month Prevent T2 curriculum, and infusing the WellSpark life-dimensional approach, participants learn valuable tips and gain meaningful insight into how lifestyle behaviors impact overall health.

Whether employees eat from a bowl or a plate, drive a truck or sit in an office, speak English or Creole, we work to ensure that even the hardest-to-reach workforces can participate in culturally-relevant programming that recognizes the nuances of their type of work.

Program includes:

  • Live-streamed virtual classes (or classes onsite at an employer’s location) and on-demand videos, podcasts and other educational support
  • Recorded versions of classes available on-demand for participants who cannot attend live
